Dashboard: Tableau Public

After generating OLAP results, the group proceeded with charting through Tableau Public, as posted below:

About the Profit Charts
The first set of charts above show dashboard aspects pertaining to profit. The bar graph shows the total profit per company, while the pie chart shows each company's profit as a portion of the aggregation of all profit records gathered.

Interpretation
Both the bar graph and pie chart above indicate that KFC has the highest total profit among the four companies, followed closely by Burger King. Jollibee has the least profit among these companies.

About the Average Profits and Loans Bar Graph
The bar graph above depicts the comparison of average profit and average loans per company. The chart can be filtered by quarter to show the changes in average profits and loans over time.

Interpretation
Burger King has the highest average profit among the four companies across all quarters. It also has the lowest average loans. This inversely proportional relationship can explain why it is the most successful company in terms of profit. Also, even though KFC has the highest total profit, it does not earn profit consistently across all quarters.

About the Average Profit Horizontal Horizontal Bar Chart
The chart above shows the comparison of average profit for the four companies. This visualization better shows the performance of each company in terms of average profit through the lengths of the bars associated with them.

Interpretation
Burger King has the highest average profit. This means that its performance in earning profits is the most consistent as compared to the other companies.

About the Profit Histogram
The histogram above exhibits a more detailed view of the total profit each company earns per quarter. The bars indicate the profits gained during each time segment.

Interpretation
The high performance of KFC in terms of total profit is reflected upon the profits it earns per quarter. Although not as consistent as that of Burger King's, KFC has the highest total profit in several quarters, thus raising its overall total profit.
